1. Why is my Tipper Body taking so long to raise?

One of the most noticeable signs of a worn hydraulic pump is a gradual loss of performance. If your tipping body is taking longer to raise, your hydraulic equipment is moving more slowly than usual, or the system struggles under load, the pump could be reaching the end of its service life.

Reduced performance can have several causes, including worn pump components, excessive internal leakage or insufficient oil flow. If the rest of the system is operating correctly, the pump should be one of the first components inspected.

2. Why Is My Hydraulic Pump Making a Whining or Grinding Noise?

Hydraulic pumps should operate relatively smoothly. If you start hearing whining, grinding, knocking or other unusual noises, it's worth investigating before the problem gets worse.

Excessive noise can be caused by issues such as cavitation, air entering the system, restricted suction lines, low oil levels or internal pump wear.
